C/I = Calculated + Inspirer

From LifeLift Assessment A = The DISC Profile

CI (green / blue) pay attention to the details. That’s the inward-facing C-side shining through.

However, they also love people. And,  they tend to impress others by doing things right and stabilizing situations.

Not considered aggressive or pushy, they enjoy both large and small crowds.

Though they work well with people, they are sometimes too sensitive to what others think about them and their work.

They could benefit from being more assertive and self motivated. Often excellent judges of character, they easily trust those who meet their standards.

They are moved by genuine and enthusiastic approval as well as concise and logical explanations.

Let’s summarize:

  • The calculated inspirer thrives with structure and systems (C / green), but loves people.
  • They aren’t overly aggressive, like the CD
  • They do things extremely well— the C / green shining through them.
  • Weakness = may question authority when they see a better way of doing things
  • They enjoy concise explanations, too

Biblical example

Miriam (see Exodus 15-21), the prophetess who was Moses’ big sister.

Remember, Moses’ mother hid him in a basket— and placed him in the river when he was a baby. As Pharaoh knew a new leader was being born who would overthrow him, he began tossing all newborns in the river to die. So, Moses’ mom hid him the one place no one would look— in the river.

Miriam kept watch— and then, when baby Moses was found by Pharaoh’s daughter— enticed her to pay Moses’ mother to nurse the baby!

She helped Moses lead the Children of Israel, and celebrated— leading others in song— as they crossed through the Red Sea.

She later questioned Moses authority, asking if he was the only one God spoke through, reminding us that every type has potential landmines to avoid. However, she was forgiven and moved forward.
