C/D = Conscientious Designer

From LifeLift Assessment A = The DISC Profile

Inward, with the ability to see the bigger picture and move people towards a common goal

CDs (green / red) are generally cautious and determined designers who are consistently task-oriented and very aware of problems.

Sometimes viewed as insensitive, they do care about individual people but have a difficult time showing it (because they are inward / introverted).

They often feel they are the only ones who can do the job the way it needs to be done, but because of their administrative skills, they are able to bring plans for change and improvements to fruition.

CDs have a tendency to be serious and could benefit from being more optimistic and enthusiastic. Despite their natural drive to achieve, they should concentrate on developing healthy relationships and simply loving people.

Let’s summarize:

  • These inward (introvert) people can get projects done
  • They might be viewed as insensitive, due to their systematic approach to problems and opportunities alike
  • Genuinely cares for people— but must work hard to express it
  • Big bonus = has the ability to make plan and create a process, due to administrative insight and skill

Biblical example

Jethro (see Exodus 2 & 18). When Moses became overwhelmed, literally sitting with people all day to resolve their disputes, Jethro (his father-in-law) stepped in and offered him sound, structural advice that would serve him AND the people well.

Jethro coached Moses to set leaders over 100s and then others over 1000s… so there were intermediary leaders along the way. He, then, could listen to only the issues that others could not decide.
