Slow + Steady Still Wins
Showing up a little bit each day-- and working over the long haul-- is powerful and helps you build long and strong
Can't "keep up" with the people who are running super fast?
Don't.
Remember, the turtle beat the rabbit. Here's how it works for your biz...
In this video…
👉 how many people are needed in your org to hit each rank (will look overwhelming when you see it)
👉 some industry stats as to how many people actually enroll people (70% never enroll anyone, so this will look ultra-un-fun, too)
👉 the power of doing just ONE PERSON per month… and creating a culture where everyone reaches ONE PERSON per month…
This is where it gets SUPER-GOOD!!!
Some background info for you...
When I received the Oola Opportunity slide deck, I flipped to the end of the document to look at the big chart we’ve referenced throughout these videos.
I wanted to see HOW MANY people I needed to get on my team in order to hit each rank. At first, it seemed a little difficult— because I don’t know if people are going to be “new” and pay $77 or if they’re going to be “old” (read: in their 2nd month or more) and pay $47. So, I decided to just factor everyone at $47— knowing that I could hit the ranks faster and with less people if some were paying $77….
Here’s what I found…
⭐️ D1 (Diamond 1) requires 50,0000 QV (Qualifying Volume). That means that in addition to having the PV requirements (350— or about 8 members) and the leg requirements (3 leaders at P1 or higher, in different legs), I need 50,000 of volume in order to achieve that rank…
⭐️ 50,000 / $47 = 1,063.83 people… that is, I need about 1,000 people to hit this milestone (become some will be new people who are paying $77).
We can do this with any rank in the chart—
⭐️ A Triple Blue Heart (H3) requires a minimum of 1,600,000 QV. That’s about 34,000 people (when using $47 as our price-point).
⭐️ P1 (Platinum) requires 7,700 QV— or about 164 people.
⭐️ G1 (Gold) requires 1,200 QV— or about 26 people.

Sure, there are some variables here we can’t foresee—
⭐️ Our organization might not structure perfectly.
⭐️ Some people will “drop out.”
⭐️ Others will become Ambassadors, enroll 3 members, and receive there product free (meaning, they represent 0 OV)
⭐️ Some will be $77 while others pay $47….
But, though not perfect, this quick math does give us some vision as to what’s needed…
🚌🚌🚌🚌🚌🚌
We all hope that the person we’re about to enroll will be the “big one,” that person that will make our business sky-rocket.— and hit those higher ranks…
However, industry experts— in the network marketing / direct sales space— suggest:
⭐️ 70% = enroll no one
⭐️ 20% = enroll 1-2 people
⭐️ 5% = enroll 3-5 people
⭐️ 2% = enroll 10 or more
And, the average of that 2% who enroll 10 ore more actually enrolls 27
Turns out, most of the people who come in and “do nothing” aren’t necessarily lazy, they just show up for the community. Many of them are busy car-pooling, schooling, managing their family, and doing the other activities of life…
This means that you need:
✅ a business framework that empowers people who want to run to be able to run as fast as they can
✅ a business framework that also makes space for people who don’t want to run, who just want to enjoy the camaraderie and friendships…
In other words, you need a culture of freedom and empowerment, space where people have a clear on-ramp to run quick if they choose to do so YET ALSO feel free to NOT run fast if they don’t want to….

🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
About 20 years ago, I was in seminary. I earned my Master’s of Divinity at Baylor University. As I sat in the room with many pastors and church leaders, all wanting their organizations to grow, I wondered, “What would happen if we intentionally grew slow but steady… if we kept the possibility open for fast growth yet AT THE SAME TIME also had a methodical intention to move forward…?”
That led me to thinking about simple duplication… and what the math actually looks like…
Think with me. Because if we apply this to our Oola organizations (which, mind you, has a goal of reaching 1 BILLION people in 7 years collectively), we have a path forward…
Let’s say the first month you learn the business…
… but the next month you enroll ONE person (as am Ambassador) AND you team them to do the same thing, so that the next month they can do the same thing….
… and, in fact, this is going to be your strategy going forward… you’re going to enroll one person each month whom you teach to enroll another person the following month…
Sounds slow, doesn’t it?
But look at this, at what happen each month…
🤔
Let’s start at the beginning...
* Month 1 = 2 Ambassadors (you + your enrollee)
* Month 2 = 4 Ambassadors (you each found another one)
* Month 3 = 8 Ambassadors (you each found one and taught them to find one more)
* Month 4 = 16 Ambassadors
* Month 5 = 32
Recall, we said we needed about 26 people in order to hit G1!
(This is significant, too, because in order to hit P1, we need three legs at G1— meaning we need to train 3 people to hit this milestone in order to move up ourselves.)
🤔
Notice what happens from here, in the following months…
* 6 = 64
* 7 = 128
* 8 = 256
* 9 = 512
* 10 = 1,024
These are D1 numbers, aren’t they? And we’re only in month 10.
🤔
Let’s continue with month 11…
* 11 = 2,048
* 12 = 4,096
* 13 = 8,192
* 14 = 16,384
* 15= 32, 768
Now, we’re in the Servant Leader Tier, closing in on that approximately 34,000 # we need to hit H3.
🤔
But let’s continuing the math with month 16…
* 16 = 65,536
* 17 = 131, 072
* 18 = 262,144
* 19 = 524,288
* 20 = 1,048,576
🚌🚌🚌🚌🚌🚌
That leads me back to where we began… and an important question…
Namely, how much is each enrollment worth?
When you read the compensation plan at face-value the answer is easy: $37.
However, professional network marketers remind us to think long-term…
… and to realize that the leverage each person creates is worth far more than the “enrollment bonus” you’re paid in the beginning.
In fact, they say it’s highly likely that if you play the long game, years from now you’ll be able to look back, divide the TOTAL $$$ your’e been paid in commissions by the TOTAL number of Ambassadors you’ve enrolled, and realize that each enrollment was worth more like $13,700…
🚌🚌🚌🚌🚌
I’ve thrown a lot of numbers at you in this video. The point of it all is to simply encourage you to work in the moment, but think long-term as you do...
... realizing that even the smallest of steps— if they’re the RIGHT steps— can take you in the direction you want to go to achieve long-term success.
Where next?
