Faith-fueled personal development
Empowering you to find + fulfill your purpose
Books + courses + coachingÂ
Is this the place for you?
Maybe. If any of the following resonates (different details, perhaps)...
âś… Life suddenly "crashed out" unexpectedly. You walked through a bankruptcy, you navigated a divorce, you find yourself rebuilding after a monumental loss, or-- for some other reason, things are what you thought they would be. You're not "playing the victim card"-- you're just being real.
âś… You find your find "deconstructing" in some ways. You might have abandoned your faith for a season-- and for what you thought were good reasons-- but you're not so sure. You wonder if maybe you just got caught up in the "system" of it all but-- just perhaps-- think they're might be some substance you want to tap into.Â
âś… You have plans, goals, and dreams. They might seem somewhat deflated or off-track right now. But, you think with some wind in your sails AND with the right personal development tools in your hand you could start making forward progress.Â
âś… You want to merge the supernatural and the ultra-practical. You want to version of faith that works in the real world-- not just on Sunday mornings or while you're in a church building. Â
âś…Â You believe that while there certainly ARE some things that are clearly "black and white," most of life is lived in the shades of grey... the places where there aren't tidy answers.Â
... then welcome. You're at the right place!

About

I grew up in the church, I've worked in churches, and I've served in faith-fueled nonprofits-- including drug rehabs, prison reentry facilities, and more.
I'm thankful for good roots, but good roots don't always mean there won't be some bad fruit.
Over a decade ago, I walked through one of the toughest seasons I ever endured. Turns out, just when I thought it was about to get better, the bottom fell out. It got worse.Â
In the process, I began working from home so I could focus more on my family. A home-based business provided the opportunity.
While working from home, I started teaching business workshops to equip team members. It was fulfilling, and it created the opportunity for me to learn about book publishing, online courses, websites, podcasts, events, and other ways to communicate in a high-tech and high-touch world.Â
After a season of teaching about business, it hit me: "I can use these processes to teach anything I want to teach."

I kept my business resources handy, so we could equip our business leaders.Â
At the same time, I dug deep into my roots and began exploring several simple but substantial topics.
đź’™ Grace = the radical, unbalanced love of God that kicks in the most when we least deserve or least expect it... and performs on our behalf
đź’ś Freedom = the capacity to walk through the hurts, habits, & hangups that hinder us and move into our purpose, unhindered by the pains of the past
đź’š Purpose = the reality that God fore-ordained, before time began, something unique and weight for each of us to do, something that fulfills us and imparts the presence of Heaven itself to the people we encounter
Something kept stirring inside, a message I knew I needed to share.
I began co-hosting events for men (called Advance, as we endeavored to empower guys to move forward from where they are to where they're designed to be).
I grabbed a cheap mic and started sharing my ideas on a podcast.Â
I wrote some books, created a lot of online courses, and even equipped other people to do the same thing-- to share their ideas with the world.

I saw-- and still see-- that the message of grace + freedom + purpose works everywhere, in each arena we find ourselves.Â
Whether it's coaching people 1:1...
Whether it's empowering veterans, service members, and first responders with tools to overcome PTSD and more...Â
Whether it's writing the concepts about identity and "calling" that I'm wrestling through (knowing that others probably have the same questions)...
... grace is always grander than we think.
It not only forgives the past, it also empowers the present (and future) to function at the capacity of Heaven (see Ephesians 2:8-10).
Freedom is always available. In fact, the pain-points of our pasts are often the very platforms where God uses us to equip others with the roadmap to the terrain we've walked (see 2 Corinthians 1:4).
And God already has a purpose for each of us that's immeasurably greater than anything we could imagine (see Ephesians 3:19:20).

That's my wife, Beth.Â
We have too-many-kids to count, and more blessings than that.Â
We're living proof that grace "works" on our behalf, that freedom is possible, and that God's purposes for you still stand.Â
We're thankful you're here.
1 | Grace

Sometimes people say, "That person fell from grace..."
The truth is quite the opposite.Â
The Biblical paradigm is that when we mess-up, grace kicks in. And, in fact, the bigger the blunder, the greater the redemption.
Grace always over-works, comes freely, and arrives when it's most needed.
The first step is to encounter the grace that forgives, heals, provides abundance, purpose, and so much more....
Outcome =  Discover hope + radical restoration & renewal-- body, soul, and and spirit.
2 | Freedom

Grace pardons and we're totally "right" with God.
At the same time, sometimes we’ve got to work through the emotional and mental clutter that holds us to our past...
Spiritual freedom is one thing, soul wholeness is another. Moreover, it's hard to walk in your purpose if you keep reading life through the lenses of past hurts.
If something keeps you "stuck," the second step is to find freedom, that is, to overcome the pains of the past so you can live your purpose in the present.
Outcome =Â Let go of the guilt + shame + hurts that defined you for too long and see yourself as God sees you, accessing every good gift grace provides.
3 | Purpose

We were all designed for a purpose— a unique part of the tapestry of hope and mercy that God weaves across humanity.
When you find your purpose, you discover the reason you were born.
And that makes all the difference.
Your purpose is found at the intersection of God's voice to you, the unique way you were created, and the way His Spirit moves through you, enabling you to do something that "out-performs"Â your natural capacity.
Outcome =Â Awaken to the greatness within you & live the life you were designed (and destined) to live. Make
Recommended Ways to Begin

The #FreedomMarch self-study is a great intro to walking in freedom-- body, soul, and spirit. And, you can begin immediately.

The #SoulWholeness on-demand course takes a thorough look at grace, emotional wholeness, and tapping into how God sees you.

If you prefer to work 1:1 (or even have me teach your team) as you go through the content, consider coaching.

I regularly interact with groups of all sizes and talk about grace + freedom + purpose.
The fine print
I primarily focus on three tracks-- grace, freedom, and purpose. And, many times those topics overlap.
The ideal path forward...
Â
Start with grace. Encounter God's goodness and evaluate everything He's provided for you.Â
Grace forgives the past, covers the present, and empowers the future.Â
And it manifests in our relationships, in our health, in our work, and more.
Â
As you move forward in grace, you'll likely bump into some pain points. Sometimes the hurts of the past hinder us from walking into our full potential in the present.Â
Here's why:Â
First, our spirit is one with God's (see 1 Corinthians 6:19), but our soul (read: our emotions) sometimes need some work.Â
Second, we live in a real world with real issues... and some things in this world won't be completely right on this side of Heaven. Emotional-- soul-- wholeness is an ongoing work.
Or, to say it another way, salvation is settled...
... some of our "issues" are not.
Let's lock arms and work on it.
Â
Ultimately, you want to discover your purpose-- the reason you're here. God placed you on this planet as a gift to the world. There's something you do, something He's placed inside of you, that no one else can do just like you.
And, He's gifted you supernaturally to do that thing at the capacity of Heaven. The same grace that "saves" you also "sanctifies" you and spiritual empowers you to touch others in ways exponentially greater than anything you can do in your own, personal strength.
Â
We want to walk with you.
Whether you simply want to grab a book, access or courses, or even interact personally, welcome...
Come as you are.
We'll work on the transformation together.
